the twenty-seven club

The Twenty-Seven Club is a cross disciplinary rock opera seance, blending music and theatre and dance and art to create a eulogy to those great artists who left us far too soon- all members of the infamous Twenty-Seven Club. The show is a meditation on the human condition, why and how we grieve over time and culture, and how the messages of art can unite complete strangers in harmony. The core of the show is celebration and hope. Hope that things will get better and hope that ‘death not ends it’. There is life after death- and we get to choose how we are remembered. The inaugural show of by Misfit Toys, a new performance company dedicated to telling epic stories in small spaces.
